Reality TV Hall of Shame: The People

Too Much Scheming, Too Many Girlfriends: The Bachelorette 6’s Justin “Rated R” Rego, by Heather Fidler & Janie Holtz: Let’s face it – almost nobody on the Reality News Online staff was that thrilled to see Ali become The Bachelorette. She had gone from an early favorite of Bachelor Jake to the center of the majority of the drama even after she had left the show. However, nobody deserves the treatment she received at the hands of her pseudo-suitor Justin.

Big Brother 3’s Tonya Paoni Status Hearing Update for Reckless Homicide & DUI Charges, by David Bloomberg: As was discussed recently in these pages, Big Brother 3’s Tonya Paoni (now Tonya Casper) faces charges including reckless homicide and DUI stemming from an accident that killed two people a year ago just outside of Springfield, Illinois. Monday morning brought the latest status hearing on the case. What is her current situation and where does the case go from here? Find out all the details from an on-site reporter.

Rules Are for Pretty People Too: True Beauty 2’s Regina Villano, by Sting7: True Beauty’s Regina Villano has done plenty to be proud of in her 22 years on this planet. She’s even worn the Miss Teen New Jersey USA crown. So you would think Regina would know the value of discipline and respect for rules. You’d be wrong. She’d be thrown off of True Beauty 2. And now she’d be inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Former ‘Big Brother 3’ Contestant Tonya Paoni Jailed for Alleged Reckless Homicide and DUI, by David Bloomberg: You may be forgiven for not remembering Big Brother 3’s Tonya – she was only in the house for 20 days, after all. But those 20 days were somewhat memorable once a few reminders are brought out (hint: peanut butter bikini). Unfortunately, now she is becoming memorable for quite a different reason, as she was arrested for alleged DUI and reckless homicide in an accident that caused two deaths. And the whole thing is going on within the Hall of Shame editor’s own town!

‘Big Brother 9’ Winner Adam Jasinski Apparently Set to Change Plea from ‘Not Guilty’ to ‘Guilty’ in Drug-Selling Case, by David Bloomberg: As you may recall, Big Brother 9’s winner, Adam, was arrested and charged with using part of his winnings to buy drugs, which he then allegedly sold in a money-making scheme! At the time, he pleaded not guilty. What has now changed? Read on to find out!

Running Away from the Runway: Maya Luz of ‘Project Runway 7’, by Tyler Sandersfeld: Maya was in a great position in the competition – two challenges away from Bryant Park, and not a single bottom three appearance to her name. Suddenly, she came to the conclusion that she wasn't ready for this competition, so she quit. It was a move that only the Hall of Shame could consider fashionable.

The Celebrity Apprentice 3’s Darryl Strawberry: Met, Yankee, Quitter, by Brian Towers: On The Celebrity Apprentice 3, Darryl Strawberry caught everyone in The Boardroom by surprise when he asked to be fired, especially since it was pretty obvious he was not responsible for his team’s loss. In other words, he quit. That’s an action that pretty much always lands one here in the Reality TV Hall of Shame, and this is no exception. Read on for the details.

Survivor: Gabon’s Crystal Cox (Sort of) Admits to Steroid Use, by David Bloomberg: Remember Crystal from Survivor: Gabon? She was the gold medal winner who couldn’t perform in a challenge to save her life. Maybe now we know why, as she has admitted to using steroids during her Olympic years – and then she immediately said she didn’t really mean it when she admitted it. What is going on? And how does this relate to her ending up here in the Reality TV Hall of Shame?

Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places: Rozlyn Papa and her ‘Bachelor’ Staffer Suitor’s “Inappropriate Relationship”, by Heather Fidler & Janie Holtz: Rozlyn seemed like she could have been a perfect wife to Bachelor Jake. She had even been on the cover of several bride magazines. However, her quest for true love veered off course and straight through the Fourth Wall of reality television, landing her and her suitor in the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

One For the Money, Two For the Show: Balloon Saga Floats Wife Swap’s Richard and Mayumi Heene into the Reality TV Hall of Shame, by Sting7: There are many ways to qualify for an induction into the Reality TV Hall of Shame. To date, none of our inductees have created the firestorm of controversy that the Heenes have. In fact, that high flying balloon was the ironic the symbol of a new low in attention-seeking reality show participants. The whole infuriating, exploitive story is here.

‘Big Brother 9’ Winner Adam Jasinski Arrested for Selling Drugs, by William Hammon: Big Brother 9’s winner, Adam, indicated at the finale of the show that he was planning to donate a chunk of his winnings to the charity group that had employed him (not realizing he’d already been fired!) because he wanted to help children. Instead, a federal agent is now saying Adam used part of that money to buy drugs, which he then was arrested for selling! What’s the current scoop?

The Epitome of Bat-Poo Insane: Big Brother 11’s Chima, by William Hammon: She called herself outspoken, but was in fact just loud. She said she was a strong woman, when at best she was a diva and a spoiled child. The show said she was one of the Brains, yet she sabotaged her own game, which is incredibly stupid. She claimed to be real, but just turned out to be real nuts. Chima Simone earned her spot here in the Reality TV Hall of Shame!

Joan and Melissa Rivers: Lost Perspective on ‘Celebrity Apprentice 2’, by Brian Towers: On Celebrity Apprentice 2, a mother and daughter acted shamefully, capping it all off on the Mother’s Day finale. Actually, this is a full induction for Joan Rivers, with a dishonorable mention for daughter Melissa. Yes, even here, Melissa gets a lesser billing! Read on to find out what they did that was bad enough to earn Joan a place here in the Hall of Shame and Melissa her second mention for two different reality shows!

Not On Task: Dennis Rodman Walks Off 'Celebrity Apprentice 2' Three Times, by Brian Towers: Some reality show players walk away from their show and directly into The Reality TV Hall of Shame. On Celebrity Apprentice 2, Dennis Rodman managed to walk away three times! It’s no wonder he’s gained entry into these not-so-hallowed halls – though just once. Read on to relive the gory details.

Can’t Take the Heat? Don’t Go in the Kitchen – The Chopping Block’s Khoa and Denise Quit, by Chris Harris: Khoa and Denise were the first victims of NBC’s The Chopping Block – but they weren’t supposed to even be in danger. Instead, the two – Khoa especially – gave up the opportunity of a lifetime for someone with culinary dreams. They won’t be winning Marco Pierre White’s competition, but they will be recognized in the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

The Dumbest Survivor Ever – Survivor: Micronesia’s Erik Throws Away His Game, by David Bloomberg: It was a moment that will go down in Survivor – and indeed all of reality TV – history. Erik won immunity and was only one step away from making it to the final three and facing the jury for a million dollars. And then he gave it away and was immediately voted out. The will probably never be another person who so clearly needs to be inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame for such strategic stupidity.

Embarrassingly Naïve – Survivor: Micronesia’s Jason Is Inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame, by David Bloomberg: Jason escaped from the Reality TV Hall of Shame once, but then he took his naïveté one step further – and it cost him the game. Blindsided while holding the immunity idol just one week after it happened to Ozzy! Add this to the top of the list of Jason’s other missteps along the way, and there can only be one conclusion.

The Worst of the Worst: Big Brother 9’s Joshuah Receives a Full Hall of Shame Induction, by David Bloomberg: Most viewers believe this bunch of Big Brother players is among the worst the show has seen. But Joshuah was the worst of the bunch, with his vile behavior getting so bad that CBS didn’t even air most of it. His verbal attacks were made only worse by his hypocrisy and claims that he’s really a nice guy. The Joshuah we saw certainly was not a nice guy – in fact, he was shameful.

A Fan Should Have Known Better – Survivor: Micronesia’s Kathy Quits, by David Bloomberg: Kathy was supposed to be one of the Fans who has watched a ton of Survivor and knew what she was getting herself into. But instead, she began complaining about her situation from Day 1, as if she truly had no idea. After surviving through the use of emotional crutches for 19 days, she gave up and quit the game. Now she’s being inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

From Hated to Favorite to Quitter: Jonny Fairplay Decides Not to Play ‘Survivor: Micronesia’, by David Bloomberg: It should not come as a surprise that Jonny Fairplay is being inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame. But the reason? That is fairly shocking. Jonny’s actions in the first week of Survivor: Micronesia ensured that he has ended up right where he belongs.

Hall of Shame Update: Big Brother 9’s Adam Fired for Insulting the Kids He’s Supposed to Support, by David Bloomberg: Adam is locked in the Big Brother 9 house and doesn’t know it yet, but he’s now among the unemployed. What led to this turn of events? And what did the organization for which he worked have to say about Adam? Read on to find out!

Omarosa: As Shameful as Ever on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, by Brian Towers & David Bloomberg: Omarosa has had a volatile season on The Celebrity Apprentice. In Episode 7, though, lines were crossed. What happened? And who gets a special, well-deserved “dishonorable mention” in this induction? (Hint: not who you think.) Read on to find out how Omarosa has landed in the Hall of Shame for the fourth time, and whom we’re nailing to the other end of her broomstick.

Stirring Up His Own Eviction: Big Brother 9’s Jacob, by David Bloomberg: Usually to get evicted from the Big Brother house, a contestant has to be nominated by the Head of Household and then voted out by a majority of the housemates. But the first eviction in the ninth season came from the sole choice of the Power Couple. It would make sense, then, to kiss up to that couple, right? Not so for Jacob, who chose to insult one of them instead. Just how clueless is he? Enough to be inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Winning the Game With Vile Behavior: Big Brother 8’s Dick Donato, by David Bloomberg: Dick made it all the way through Big Brother 8 with daughter Daniele and ended up taking home the big prize. But that final vote cannot excuse the way he acted along the way. Dick was one of the most obnoxious, crude, and vile personalities to ever appear on reality TV, and the Reality TV Hall of Shame would be remiss if we did not induct him. Read on to find out all the reasons, including many that never made it to your TV screen.

Acting Like a Brat: Big Brother 8’s Jen Breaks the Rules, Gets First U.S. ‘Big Brother’ Penalty Ever, by David Bloomberg: Jen was self-centered from the start of Big Brother 8, something we saw a lot of as the season progressed. But when she was backdoored and it looked like she might be going home, Jen decided the rules didn’t apply to her anymore. She violated her food restrictions, she destroyed another player’s property, and she earned the first (and second) ever penalty handed down on a U.S. Big Brother. There’s even more, so read on to find out why Jen has been inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

An Arrogance-Fueled Horrible Game Move: Big Brother 8’s Dustin Gets Himself Evicted, by David Bloomberg: First, we had Marcellas. He had the opportunity to make himself safe on Big Brother and didn’t, earning a place in the Reality TV Hall of Shame. For several years, nobody made such a dumb move again. Earlier this year, Mike made a comparable move and ended up in the Hall as well. Now we have a second person in the same season who made a similarly shameful decision. So it’s time to induct Dustin into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Loyalty Cannot Excuse Poor Game Play: Big Brother 8’s Mike Gets Himself Evicted, by David Bloomberg: For many years, Marcellas’ failure to use the veto on himself has been known everywhere as the dumbest Big Brother move ever. But then Mike came along and put himself in harm’s way as far as the game was concerned – and ended up getting himself evicted. Whether it was as bad a move as Marcellas’ is debatable, but there is no debate that Mike is being inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Hall of Shame Update: Richard Hatch Uses Scooter Libby Case to Again Claim Innocence, by David Bloomberg: What does President Bush’s commutation of Scooter Libby’s prison sentence have to do with reality TV? Not much, except that original Survivor winner and jailed convict Richard Hatch is using it to claim unfairness and innocence – again.

Defying Truth and Logic: Dustin “Screech” Diamond of Celebrity Fit Club: Men vs. Women, by Tyler Sandersfeld: Screech claimed to fight with “truth and logic.” Apparently, his version of “truth and logic” condones junk food diets, unregulated diet pills, humiliating fellow cast members, challenging a Marine drill sergeant to physical combat, quitting challenges and nearly quitting the show itself, etc. Read on for all of the truth and logic behind Screech’s induction into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Missing the Point: Cecille Gahr of ‘Beauty and the Geek 3’, by Dale Sherman: Beauty and the Geek has always been promoted differently from other reality shows with prizes. But one contestant in the third season, Cecille, never seemed to understand that. In fact, she never seemed to understand anything that would focus attention away from herself. In many ways, it was like watching the return of Lina Lamont from Singin’ in the Rain. Read on to find out more about why Cecille has been inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Quitting the Game Leads to the Hall of Shame: Michelle from ‘The Apprentice: Los Angeles’, by David Bloomberg: In the sixth season of The Apprentice, applicants should have a pretty good idea of what to expect. This is not your usual job interview. Perhaps they had no way to know they would be sleeping in tents, but is that a legitimate reason to quit? Should The Apprentice be viewed as a job interview or a reality show? The Reality TV Hall of Shame induction of Michelle discusses all of these issues.

Cheaters Never Prosper – They Get the Boot: Project Runway 3’s Keith Michaels, by C. Brian Devinney: What is it with reality show contestants this summer? First, Gabriel Iglesias was booted from Last Comic Standing for having contraband. Now a similar situation has hit Project Runway 3, when Keith Michaels was caught with fashion books that he had to know he wasn’t supposed to have. And like Gabriel, Keith is now being inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame for his actions.

Last Comic Leaving: Gabriel Iglesias and the Blackberry of Shame, by Dale Sherman: Gabriel Iglesias came into the fourth season of Last Comic Standing with many viewers figuring him to be one of the final five, if not the winner. Instead, he was kicked off the show for refusing to play by the rules set up for the program. Why did he do it? Click inside for details.

Hoof In Mouth Disease: So You Think You Can Dance 2’s Ben Susak, by Sting7: So, Ben Susak thought he could dance. Thing is, he could dance! That wasn’t the problem. The problem with Ben was his mouth – like inductee Blake McGrath before him. A mouth that riled the judges, yet again. But while Blake committed the sin of arrogance, Ben’s is an even worse sin: Stupidity.

From Fame to Shame: ‘Survivor’ Winner Richard Hatch, by David Bloomberg: Richard Hatch was the first person recognized in the Reality TV Hall of Fame. That was for his Survivor game play. Now he has earned himself a new dubious distinction as he is the first person inducted into both the Hall of Fame and the Reality TV Hall of Shame. Hatch is in jail now, and this induction takes us through the process by which he ended up there… and here.

The Minister of Hypocrisy: Unan1mous' Kelly, by Mike DeGeorge: Kelly was only on Unan1mous for a short time, but what her stint lacked in quantity, she made up for in quality. Hall of Shame quality behavior, that is. The Ministry of Kelly is not one of giving, caring, and compassion, rather one of lies, greed, and hypocrisy. Get the full story inside!

Master P a Disaster for ‘Dancing with the Stars 2’, by David Bloomberg: P Miller, aka Master P, stepped in for his son, Romeo, on Dancing with the Stars 2. But that was the last correct step he took, as it quickly became obvious that P really wanted very little to do with the show. The Reality TV Hall of Shame wouldn’t induct somebody for simply being a bad dancer, but P went much further than that. Read on to find out why the Master was a disaster.

Open Mouth, Insert Dancing Feet: Blake McGrath from 'So You Think You Can Dance', by Sting7: The name of the show was So You Think You Can Dance. Blake McGrath did think he could dance, and he was absolutely right. In fact, he was head and shoulders the best dancer on the program! It was the things Blake couldn’t do that landed him in such hot water. How does a person simultaneously hold the positions of the being the best on the show and the least likely to win it? Blake showed us how.

Quitters Can’t Be Supermodels: Cassandra Whitehead from “America’s Next Top Model 5”, by Phil Kural: So far, the fifth season of America’s Next Top Model has been full of drama, pettiness, jealousy, and cat fights. It has also spawned the first person to ever quit the show: beauty pageant queen extraordinaire, Cassandra Whitehead. Find out why her quitting has landed her in the Reality TV Hall of Shame!

Being Beautiful is Like Racism: The Bachelor 7's Sarah W., by Paris Cosby: Sarah W. started off The Bachelor 7 as a favorite, seeming to be a sweet, nice girl. That would all change quickly and come to a crescendo when she was eliminated. Read on to see exactly why she has earned a full induction into The Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Losing Like Nobody Has Lost Before: The Ulong Tribe from ‘Survivor: Palau’, by David Bloomberg: After the first series of Survivor, “Pagong” became a verb. Now, after the tenth, we can expect the same to happen with “Ulong.” This was a tribe that was never really a team – and it showed as they lost every single immunity challenge, a feat that has never even been approached before and might never be again.

Quitting and Making Excuses: Verna Felton from ‘The Apprentice 3’, by David Bloomberg: Verna Felton took a coveted spot on The Apprentice 3, and then threw it all away after just two challenges. But quitting wasn’t bad enough – then Verna made a variety of excuses that supposedly explained her behavior. None of them hold up under scrutiny. Read on for the details of why Verna has been inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Hypocrite, Thy Name is Kris – Kris Gillespie from ‘Wife Swap’, by Kara Wild: Wife Swap is well-known for trading between families at polar opposites – rich and poor, religious and non, strict and relaxed. But when they swapped ultra-conservative religious wife Kris Gillespie with lesbian Kristine Luffey, viewers got more than they bargained for. In particular, Kris came off as one of the most mean-spirited, judgmental, and hypocritical people to ever appear on our TV sets.

A Spousal Nightmare – Jonathan Baker from ‘The Amazing Race 6’, by Phil Kural: Was there a doubt in anyone's mind that Jonathan would be inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame? In fact, he should have his own wing! It would take eons to list every shameful thing Jonathan did during the race, but Phil does his best to recount each one and prove why this guy is the king of shameful.

The Will’s Penny: Nobody Else Deserves It More, by David Bloomberg: The Will only aired once, but it immediately became obvious that Penny, fourth and current wife of the man bequeathing his ranch for the show’s prize, would stop at nothing to get what she felt she deserved. In watching the 90-minute horror show she put on, it was clear that what Penny deserved was a full Reality TV Hall of Shame induction.

Suing ‘Fear Factor’ for Being ‘Fear Factor’ – Austin Aitken’s Rat Suit, by David Bloomberg: It might seem obvious to 99.9999% of people that tuning in to Fear Factor means you’ll see gross stuff being eaten. But there’s always one who just doesn’t get it. That one might be Austin Aitken, who is suing NBC for airing Fear Factor doing what Fear Factor does best. And for that, we welcome Aitken into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

The Millionaire’s Wicked Wife – Donna Beavens from ‘The Real Gilligan’s Island’, by William Ingram: On the original Gilligan’s Island, the millionaire’s wife – Mrs. Howell – was a kind but dippy woman. On The Real Gilligan’s Island, one of the women competing for that spot was quite the opposite. Donna Beavens showed herself to be homophobic, uncaring, immature, and just an all-around bitch.

Fear Factor's Cecilia: Zip, Nada, Nothing, by Sting7: Meet lovely Cecilia. It appears that Cecilia has achieved the unfathomable - Cecilia has earned the very dubious distinction of being the worst Fear Factor contestant of all time. So, what does one have to do to earn such an honor? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

The Amazing Race 3's Flo: The Queen of Tears and Complaints, by Phil Kural: Flo may have won The Amazing Race 3, but she had a pretty bumpy road along the way. Some of these bumps included whining, complaining, crying, and quitting a few times during the race. Read on to find out why she has been inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Viviana Knows Best – Just Ask Her: Next Action Star’s Viviana Londono, by Gil Sery: She second-guessed experts, transfixed audiences with her train wreck acting skills, and even munched on a tulip. For Viviana Londono, the Colombian-born New York City club dancer on Next Action Star, failure to achieve her dream of becoming an actress is not an option. Apparently, neither are maturity, consideration for others, and disagreeing with her. Read on to find out why Viviana’s way isn’t the right way; it’s the only way.

Opening Her Big Mouth to Get Back in the Hall of Shame: Jerri Manthey of ‘Survivor: All-Stars’, by David Bloomberg: Jerri Manthey had tried, in The Surreal Life and Survivor: All-Stars, to present a new image of herself. Unfortunately for her, the old image came through loud and clear in the All-Stars reunion and million-dollar special. She butted into a discussion that didn’t involve her, made incredibly hypocritical remarks, and then blamed the audience and even Jeff Probst! Jerri’s back in the Hall of Shame again.

The Intern from Hell: Drew Abruzzese from ‘The Restaurant’, by David Bloomberg: He’s been in the restaurant business for 15 years – even though he’s only 20. He’s just there to observe – and answer phones, work behind the bar, and annoy the crap out of people. He demands respect – but he doesn’t give respect to those who actually deserve it. Drew Abruzzese was only on the second season of The Restaurant for two episodes, but in that short time, he managed to earn himself an induction into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: Triple Threat, by Betsy Wasser: Why is Omarosa-Manigault-Stallworth of The Apprentice a triple threat? That’s easy – because she is the first person ever to merit three Reality TV Hall of Shame articles about her actions. Read on to find out what makes Omarosa so shameful.

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth: She’s Back, and She’s Still Shameful, by Betsy Wasser: Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, from The Apprentice, was already inducted into the Hall of Shame, and we hoped we’d seen the last of her. But she was brought back along with five others to “help” the Final 2. Omarosa “helped” so well that we had to write a full update for her most recent shameful behavior.

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth of ‘The Apprentice’: Bad for Business, by Betsy Wasser: Believe it or not, we weren’t sure at first if Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth of The Apprentice deserved a spot in the Reality TV Hall of Shame. But after watching her again in the recap show and after seeing her post-show appearances in the media, it became clear that if anyone deserved to be the Hall of Shame, it was Omarosa.

Todd TV: Tool TV, by Sting7: Todd Santos, 30, is a guy stuck at “potential.” He has been given opportunity after opportunity to change his life, if he can only get past his own… Todd-ness. Todd TV is a painful experience if you ask Todd. It’s painful, yes indeed. But, for us.

Simply Shameful: Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie from “The Simple Life”, by Betsy Wasser: Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie decided to live “the simple life” to prove to the world that they weren’t just two spoiled rich girls. They succeeded. They showed that in addition to being two spoiled rich girls, they were also selfish, dishonest, immature, lazy, and most of all, shameful. For that, they have earned a full induction into the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

What Will Jerri Do? – A Prediction of Her ‘Survivor: All-Stars’ Behavior, by David Bloomberg: Jerri Manthey has been on two reality shows, and of course was a full inductee to the Reality TV Hall of Shame for Survivor 2. But her time on The Surreal Life was a bit calmer. So which Jerri will show up this time around?

Survivor Quitter Osten Furthers His Legacy of Shame, by David Bloomberg: Osten Taylor, already a Hall of Shame inductee for being the first person to ever voluntarily quit on Survivor, has furthered his legacy of shame in his snide and non-responsive answers to RealityNewsOnline. Read on for details.

The Quitter: Osten Taylor from ‘Survivor: Pearl Islands’, by David Bloomberg: It took seven seasons, but it finally happened – somebody out and out quit on Survivor. Was it some poor thin woman whose hair was falling out due to malnutrition? No. It was a guy who showed up in peak shape, with muscles bulging out all over. Osten Taylor never should have been on the show, he was too weak-willed and scared of his own shadow. Now he’s being inducted into the Hall of Shame for his actions on the show and after.

Violence Is Never Cool: Chris Tamburello from ‘Real World Paris’, by Jen Shrader: What happens when a Real World cast member takes his "tough Boston" attitude too far? He gets faceplanted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame by recapper Jen!

Big Brother 2’s Justin Sebik Arrested Yet Again, by David Bloomberg: Justin Sebik, the first person ever inducted into the Reality TV Hall of Shame, has been in the news again. And you can bet it wasn’t for something good. It’s time for a Hall of Shame Update as we look at why he was arrested yet again.

Shame Knows No Borders: Sherry St. Germain of ‘Canadian Idol’, by Sting7: Meet Canadian Idol’s Sherry St. Germain. This lovely Canadian lass has the honor of being our first international inductee into the Reality TV Hall of Shame. Have you ever had a dream, been this close to achieving it, and toss it away like a burger wrapper? Sherry has.

Artist or Vandal? Cristy C. from ‘For Love or Money’, by David Bloomberg: Cristy C. was immediately one of the villains on For Love or Money. She was shallow, nasty, drunk, and disorderly. But if that was all it took for a reality TV contestant to be inducted into the Hall of Shame, we wouldn’t have any more room. She just went one step too far…

Ashley Olson: Shameful Stage Mom of ‘American Juniors’, by David Bloomberg: American Juniors holds promise for showing us talented kids and proud parents. But it also has a darker side, a side embodied by Ashley Olson, mother of Rylee, who didn’t make the cut. Ms. Olson is the one you have seen yelling at the camera and making fun of the other kids during the American Juniors commercials. With the premiere, we got to see more of that tantrum, and with it she deserves a place in the Reality TV Hall of Shame.

Mixed Signals, Lost Morals, and Unsafe Sex in Sin City: Steven & Trishelle of ‘Real World Las Vegas’, by Jen Shrader: He's a boy who can't say no. She's a girl who can't hear no. Together, they were a couple (sorta) who couldn't find the condoms. Or their dignity. Steven and Trishelle (shown looking for that dignity), are in the Hall of Shame. Plenty of reasons why.

Even Vegas Weddings Mean You’re Married – Denise Luna of ‘Married by America’, by David Bloomberg: Denise Luna went on Married by America to compete in an attempt to marry Stephen. But she seemed to miss the point that you can’t marry somebody else if you are already married! Even when confronted with this information on the air, she tried to deny it and then act like a Las Vegas marriage didn’t really count. It was truly a shameful display.

Heidi from ‘Joe Millionaire’ Makes It Even Worse for Herself, by David Bloomberg: Joe Millionaire’s Heidi was already inducted into the Hall of Shame, but her appearance on the finale made it necessary to follow up on her actions. Not only did she fail to explain away her behavior, but she made it even worse!

Acting Like a Two-Year-Old: Heidi of ‘Joe Millionaire’, by David Bloomberg: Joe Millionaire’s Heidi had a boyfriend at home, but she wanted to try on another one who had more money. She claimed that she didn’t get upset when things don’t go her way – that she hasn’t acted like that since she was two, yet that was exactly the way she acted on national TV. Simply put, Heidi acted in a shameful manner.

Following Jerri on ‘The Surreal Life’ – Episode 1: So Far, So Bad, by David Bloomberg: With most inductions into the Reality TV Hall of Shame, it ends there. The person has been on a show, acted shamefully, and that was that. But Jerri Manthey is now on another reality show, The Surreal Life. Let’s take a look at the first episode, which is not setting a good example for her supposed behavioral change.

Jerri Manthey, Wicked Witch of “Survivor 2”, by David Bloomberg: Survivor 2’s Jerri acted as though she knew there would be a Reality TV Hall of Shame and was desperately trying to get in. She was nasty, picked fights, showed no regard for the feelings of others, and even continued this behavior long after the show was over. Her behavior was, simply put, shameful.

Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna Nicole, She’s So Much Nothing, by Jill Sherman: What can we say about Anna Nicole Smith? If it isn’t obvious that she deserves to be in the Hall of Shame, nothing is. She contributes nothing to the world, throws tantrums, and is cruel to those around her. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The Anna Nicole Show’s Bobby Trendy: The Style of Ineptitude, by Dale Sherman: The first season of Anna Nicole Smith’s reality series has ended with low ratings, lawsuits, and bitterness. If there is one person on the show that combines all the horrible elements of the series in a repetitive, mind-numbing way, it is that of decorator and irritant Bobby Trendy. For this, Bobby gets to be the first inductee from the show into the Hall of Shame. Find out why here.

The Hypocritical Winner: Vecepia Towery, by Charlie Reneke: Up until now, we have never seen a reality TV show winner inducted into the Hall of Shame. After all, most people who do shameful things end up losing – often because of them. But when we look back to the winner of Survivor: Marquesas, we see Vecepia Towery, a woman who was shameful in both her victory and what she had to say afterwards.

Don’t Pity the Quitter: Tough Enough 3’s Jill, by Sting7: Jill wanted to be a wrestler – she wanted to be on WWE Tough Enough 3. She applied, and made it to the round of 75. She worked hard, making it to the round of 25. She kept right on working, doing better than many and making it to the house – she was on the show. She trained through pain. So what did she do to end up in the Hall of Shame? Read on for the shameful story.

Blowing His Big Chance: Tough Enough 3’s Wendell, by Mike DeGeorge: Tough Enough, like other reality shows, has provided no shortage of potential Hall of Shame entries. Yet Wendell, who didn't even make it to the regular cast, is the first induction from the show. Why? Read on.

Taking the Game Too Far: Ghandia Johnson of ‘Survivor: Thailand’, by Peggy Keller: Some players end up being mentioned in the Reality TV Hall of Shame for forgetting that it’s all a game and not going far enough in their strategy. But this time we have somebody who went too far. Ghandia Johnson, of Survivor: Thailand, earned a quick induction by using the incident with Ted to attack him personally in a way that goes far beyond the game. She took an important issue for women everywhere and turned it into a crass attempt to win a game show.

The Quickest Induction Ever: Marcellas Reynolds of Big Brother 3, by C. Brian Devinney: It takes a lot to be enshrined in the Reality TV Hall of Shame. It takes even more to be enshrined within mere hours of leaving the show you were on! But Marcellas has managed to do just that with his incredibly stupid move, which only compounded his previous behavior.

Behaving Like Children: Ytossie & Taheed of ‘Temptation Island’, by David Bloomberg: Many people on both iterations of Temptation Island did a variety of shameful things.
